What healthy alternatives have you chosen to keep a healthy diet?

Preferring water over soda works like a charm!

Training for bodybuilding show. I found that taking out a lot of gluten foods and high carb meals. Keeping carbs for the morning and early afternoon. The best advice for anyone wanting to maintain or lose weight would be. Never eat anything that’s not natural whole foods.
best carbs- sweet potato, oats white potato, brown rice.
best proteins- fishes, lean chicken, and any good quality steaks
fats- cashews, walnuts, almonds, olive oil, avocado.
veggies- zucchini, carrots, spinach, brocolli
fun fact- sweet potato is much better for vitamin A then carrots. Good eyes can be maintained from also a great carb.

For me personally I have began switching coffee with tea
whole grain instead of white grain and if there is an option for no bread I also choose it (taking into consideration that I have some sort of carbs already)
adding vegetables to my meals. I used to only eat 3rd of a tomato in my meals as a veggie but now I eat half of a tomato and half of a cucumber. It's been great so far with this addition
since I like soda and sugary drinks while working or while doing tests I chose to switch to sweetened water instead for now to fill in the sweet drinks gap and it had been pretty great so far. I am planning to gradually switch that too with normal water since I want to stop this bad habit for a while now. otherwise I try to drink more water in general in normal setting.
