Hello! I love a good smoothie! One of my favorite dinner recipes is to put a few chicken breasts in a crock pot, and cover it with some low sodium cream of mushroom soup. I let it cook on low all day, and the chicken will literally fall apart. I usually steam some fresh veggies to go with it.
@LisaPageLMHC That sounds amazing!!!!

It is so simple to just add it all to the crock pot, and dinner is ready when you get home. You can even throw in some extra garlic of fresh herbs. Let me know how it turns out if you try it.

Ohh..this sounds like really good "low calorie" option!.. I am going to try that this very soon! Thanks for the "quick recipe"!
Mine not be related to food, but it does involve it haha. I think anyone here deserves a little pamper. I mix coffee grinds with avocado oil and use it as a scrub on my feet. It is amazing! My feet feel so moisturised. if you have really cold feet, try this little pampering session: soak your feet in warm water with hamalyan pink salt for about 10-15 min, relax, take it chill. Then scrub your feet with coffee grind and an iol of your choice (cocount, jojoba, olive, avocado)
I like salads, and especially Greek salad because of the extra virgin olive oil and preferably home grown veges. The lemon juice is nice too, and the basil and oregano. I just have it with heavy bread.
One of my favourites is 'healthy chicken parmigianas'! So you cut a chicken breast in half lengthwise (so it's thin) and season it with italian herbs. Then place on baking tray, and on top of each chicken, place some spinach leaves, basil leaves, and then chopped tomatoes (i use tin ones). Top with light cheese. Bake in 180 degrees celcius oven for 30 minutes or until cooked! And serve with sweet potato mash (sweet potatoes boiled, then mashed with some light milk, garlic, and salt and pepper!) and broccolini and asparagus.
I have something that helps with my sugar cravings.
The first one is something anyone knows but is sweet mashed potatoes. Is amazing and helps me when I crave something warm and sweet.
Also fried mashed potatoes are delicious so I recommend, if you don't mashed potatoes as much.
The second one is naturally sweet tea yet without any uncessary extra sugar! So goes like this: water (duh), lemon, ginger, honey, cinnamon (if possibly the cinnamon stick, not powder), and anise.
I love this last recipe because the only real sweet thing here is the honey. And you don't even have to put alot of it because the cinnamon will just make you go wow with how it combines with the rest. This is my little secret when I want sugar but also when I'm very sick. So if you find yourself with a flue/cold and you don't want to shove meds down your troath, give this a go aswell. If possibly really warm btw ^^
@IamKylee123, I have (for the most part) cut meat out of my diet. When I do that, I eat more fruits and veggies and I feel so much better. I typically go on Pinterest and look for protein vegetarian meals and they are so many great recipes! Here is one for spinach burgers. It sounds kind of gross but they are soooo yummy! http://thevillagecook.com/spinach-burgers/
