On the Spot Hosting

Are you interested in being a host for TOZ but have an unpredictable schedule? Apply to be an on the spot host!

Instead of signing up for discussions in advance, you can decide to host whenever you have the time. Hosts are still expected to meet a quota of 3 sessions per month, but when you host is up to you!

Here's how on the spot hosting works:

1) Pick a time to host and a discussion topic. When choosing a time, make sure to start during a new hour in ET time. For example, you need to start you session at 10 AM ET instead of 10:34 AM ET. On the spot hosts can host both member daily sessions and discussions (support based topics).

2) Open the room for the discussion or ask a doorkeeper to help you out. If there is a community mod around, ask them to put an alert out for the session.

3) Use the provided TOZ script for the topic you select, and host the session. All sessions last approximately one hour.

4) After the session is over, close the room or let a doorkeeper know that the room needs to be closed.

5) Log onto the TOZ dashboard and go to the "Group Support Sign Ups" page. Write in your username/date/time for the session you hosted and change the status to completed.
