How can i journal

I am very bad at putting my feelings into words and i am bad at writing but i am suffering too much due to a breakup and i am not able to let it go i keep

holding on. So i am doing everything i can like reaching out or motivational youtube videos and i think i should journal but i dont know how to. Also i wanna know if there is any good ios journal application which can give me prompts

You could write about your day to start, what you did, how you feel, goals you have. Things simple like that.

Usually when I write, I write about things I'm passionate about or fixated in that day like my hobbies or things I have to do.

It's certainly difficult at the beginning to put your emotions on paper so I suggest you write banal things just to get the hang of it.

maybe some sentences that you've read and liked and that you want to copy, your fav series or movies and why did you like them.

Sometimes you don’t even need to put everything into something cohesive, its not specifically for looking back at, its to help you in your moments of stress. Just write, whatever thought pops into your head write it. if its sad, happy, or even angry. Let it all write itself.

I like to buy those journals with all the prompts, then get a blank journal and copy the prompt and write for however long my hands let me. (Carpal tunnel)


The prompts really help me to be able to focus on what I'm writing and now just aimlessly word vomit all over the page, because that makes me feel worse, personally.
