You seem to be always encouraging and always enthusiastic about helping, and that really says loads about who you are as a person. You're very loved!

I was poking through the forums when I saw this really beautiful thread, titled, "What I wish my family knew."

I didn't know that the responses and the kindness erupting from you were going to knock the wind out of me. Haze, you are so supportive, and that thread is really amazing. I commend you for being able to share your story with us, and respond with such eloquence to those who are reaching out to you. I especially like this quote that you said:

"You aren't alone. Nothing is wrong with you. It is only for a short while they you will have to live with people who don't understand. And if you want them to know how you really feel, and what you are going through, sit them down, talk. If not, write them a letter. Tell them how much everything is tearing you down. Give them no choice but to listen to what you have to say. If they still choose to shrug their shoulders then you know you at least did everything you can, and look forward to the day where someone will understand. "

The strength it took to post this thread: "I confess being an HSP" is just absolutely amazing. In a day in age where guys are constantly expected to be the stereotypical jock-y, "oh, I don't feel things," kind of guy, it takes a lot of self-realization and a lot of introspection to come to the conclusion that you're not like that. And that's not a bad thing.

Based on what you said in that thread, you're empathetic, you're tuned to people's emotions, people can come to you. I admire these qualities so very much. You're not broken, you're beautifully you. I'm glad you're on the site, lovely!

@BrokenCrayon, you are so supportive to everyone you come across.

You are absolutely stunning with the amazing way that you help people. You're always there when someone needs you, and you always give your all in such a beautiful way. You have a lot of perseverance and pride in what you do. The chatrooms become a safe haven because of you. <3 Thank you for all that you do.

I admire this thread, and you, for a lot of reasons. Firstly, you are so very honest, but it comes from a very sincere place in your heart and I know that. Secondly, you are amazing with your words and influential when it comes right down to it. I hope you don't leave the site, as you definitely have a place here, but I also hope that something is done about the group support rooms. I hope this is enough of a spark to get some minds thinking about it.

Regardless, I wanted to thank you for bringing such an important topic to light; you're a beautiful writer and I'm glad you're taking the time to tell our community how you're feeling; I promise you it makes a difference. Don't lose that fighting spirit.
