Smiling is helping me cope

stilladapting2be March 16th, 2023

I've been smiling more in hopes that it will change my mood and get me out of this funk and it really works - when I see people I smile, they smile šŸ˜Š

Sometimes "fake it until you make it" really is something applicable to happiness. Smiling can make us feel happier :)

I was raised in a community where if you didn't wave you were indeed a stranger lol

@stilladapting2be smile at someone who smiled back and then their smile makes another smile. And pretty soon your smile has gone on for miles šŸ˜ humour is my coping mechanism, so I agree smile laugh dance and sing. Cause everything will turn out ok ā¤ā¤ā¤

I smile a lot. Probably to compensate for my lack of talking. I'm kind of shy.

such a great way to change your state by altering your physical appearance - sharing your joy with yourself as well as others

I try to note how much my overall mood changes when I smile, plus the impact the smiles of others has on me - truly amazing!!

Yes. I smile when Iā€™m embarrassed. I used to match everyone elseā€™s facial expressions but no matter what a smile helps me get through everything. I love this.
