Reflection Question: Am I flexible enough to change my mind and accept feedback?

What title says "Am I flexible enough to change my mind and accept feedback?"
Think & Reflect, Looking forward to your thoughts!

My Thoughts:

Flexibility is often easier said than done. I've been reflecting on moments when feedback challenged my perspective, pushing me to reconsider my approach. There were times when it was difficult to let go of my initial ideas, but in hindsight, embracing change often led to growth, deeper insights, and improved outcomes.

However, I also wonder—how often do I genuinely remain open versus simply nodding along? How do you all navigate feedback that's hard to hear? Do you have any strategies or moments when shifting your mindset truly benefited you?

And I'm so thankful for those who shared their experiences with previous reflection question, it was great to read through all of them and knowing how one can overcome adversities with some humor.

For those who are new to this post, Hi and you can check previous post out here: Where can I learn to laugh rather than cry?

@kabir22However,

how often do I genuinely remain open versus simply nodding along?     Sometimes you nod along and take note as you may need to let a thing sting a bit to sink in .... you are still open but you may really want to shut that door ...giving yourself time to absorb makes it easier next time to stay open.

How do you all navigate feedback that's hard to hear?    first you take into consideration who is giving feedback .... some negative is just negative... if the person is someone who you value their opinion has no reason to just be negative and you can absorb and see some of what they were speaking about it is easier to not only hear but understand things said

Do you have any strategies or moments when shifting your mindset truly benefited you?    I, in the past use to ignore or disregard  negative feedback that i did not like or want to hear. i now look back on feedback that at the time i was mad and could not face,  saw most was true and helpful and embracing it and making changes was far easier in helping myself then holding a grudge and carrying hate around.
