?No matter the organisation, no matter the team, there are special people who do the unfashionable things that allow a team to achieve great things. They are the glue that hold the moving parts together. And without these people, teams generally fail. I've been involved in teams with high performers but without the glue people and they've never achieved what they should have. Therefore a lot of the success of the many listeners at 7Cups can be put down to the work that is done in the background - the work never mentioned in the forums and chatrooms. @LauraS is that 'glue' type person at 7Cups. I have a lot of respect for her from what she is involved in that comes through to the front space of 7Cups and with my personal dealings with her, I have always been struck with manner in which she deals with things. Therefore, in conclusion, and in my ever verbose manner, I would like to honor @LauraS for all of which she does. I really appreciate you! :) All the best..?

?I remember moderating one the groupchat - rooms when they had just been opened for the first time. Laura was in the room as well and later thanked me for all the hard work I am doing. It really felt good to be appreciated. I always love reading Laura's posts in the forum because they are thought-though and informative. Her constant reminders of that we shouldn't forget why we are here, to build a community of love and support, are beautiful because they are true!?

?To be honest, it?s hard for me to just pick one memory or favorite thing about this woman...she is really wonderful is so many ways. She is extremely attentive and appreciative, she listens to you and then proactively searches for solutions on how to address these situations. Laura is a person of change, she's not afraid to move forward...to try and fail and then try again. Laura inspires, Laura works hard, Laura makes me feel safe. She might have not been the reason I came to seven cups but she is certainly one of the reasons I'm still around. Thank you Laura, for being your incredible self. For being there for me and any other listener that has reached out to you. Thank you for caring and for doing your best to keep our community the wonderful place it is.?

?I may have mentioned this before about @Heather, however the majority of my dealings with her have been via the group moderation team. She is a real leader behind the scenes of that team and do you know what struck me about her? Her calmness. I think the world could be falling to pieces and I envision her calmly saying, "Oh, that's alright. We'll do this." It's gift that and it really inspires trust in those who she deals with. @LauraS, we?ve spent so much time together, especially here lately -- some good (group discussions, things of the like) and some bad (trolling experiences). All in all, you?ve shown me that everything can, and should, be viewed as a learning experience, upon which to grow and learn. Whether it?s seeing you in the forums, or sending you yet another email, it?s always a pleasure to hear from you. It?s obvious that you care a lot about this community, and that you have so many amazing ideas you want to enact. It?s that inspiration that keeps me? Well, inspired. Honestly, I have a folder called ?Things that make me really happy,? and many of the things you said have been in there. Thank you for everything, and thank you for working with me so closely, and always being willing to give a second chance. You?re the best!

@Heather, my gosh, you?re a wonderful woman. Thank you for all of the times I?ve come to you after being in an unfortunate situation, and thank you for always ensuring me that things will be okay, and that everything will eventually be okay. The group support is something I?ve been massively involved in, and you?ve taken it on, acting as a complete inspiration to me. Without you, many members would be friendless, as well as many listeners; it built our community even stronger! I feel like there?s a lot behind the scenes that you do, that likely goes largely unnoticed, but know that it doesn?t go unappreciated. Here?s to working closely with you and Laura in the future! <3

I'm so pleased that @Cadence and @samc95xc organised this. I could not think of another two more deserving people to have this done under "Secret Squirrel" protocols than @LauraS and @Heather ("Secret Squirrel' brings back so many memories from primary school lol)

I want to thank Laura because she helps me when I have doubts, and she is so kind. I love her forum updates, and she is always doing new things :)

I want to thank Heather because she is very kind as well, and she is always trying to make this community happier and more safe. Thanks for the good work!
