World Kindness Day: Kindness Changes Everything

8Moonlight November 13th, 2020

Hello lovely people! How is everyone doing? Today, (on the 13th of November) is the World Kindness Day!

Welcome to Day 1 of our event! (check out this post for details on World Kindness Day event) Kindness binds people together, since it has no race nor a religion. It serves to focus on the positive act of kindness towards others.

Let's do some acts of kindness today, to change someone's day to the better!

1. Compliment the first three people you talk to.

2. Dedicate some time to spread positivity on social media.

3. Set an alarm to go off three times on World Kindness Day. When the alarm sounds, stop what you're doing a call/text/email someone simply to tell them how awesome they are.

4. Share a positive quote on this thread for everyone to read.

I am doing the 2nd and 4th one ...

"An act of kindness is like a shield which protects you."

An act of kindness is I try to give space to the vehicle behind me if it wants to overtake me.

Which of the 4 acts will you do today? ~4. Share a positive quote on this thread for everyone to read.

What are some acts of kindness that you usually like to do? ~Gratitude; a warm smile and a sincere thank you really means a lot, it is small and simple but means so much and really makes a big difference when someone is feeling unwanted and unappreciated.

“Give a bowl of rice to a man and you will feed him for a day. Teach him how to grow his own rice and you will save his life.” ~Confucius

Positive quote: We rise by lifting others.

Which of the 4 acts will you do today?

❣️ I will be trying to do all the acts of kindness!

What are some acts of kindness that you usually like to do?

❣️ I usually like to reach out to people I care about if I haven’t talked to them for awhile and let them know I care about them and am thinking about them. I like to send random messages to people that lift them up, such as sharing a joke or a quote with them.

@8Moonlight Sorry for the late post! So much has been going on but I have completed my goal. The closest people to me in life are my husband and kids and my best friend. I have always made it to where my kids know I love them no matter what. I have always let them know they are my world and beautiful/handsome and smart. I write "love notes" or "love texts" as my son calls so they have something to see or read if they need a reminder. I compliment almost on a daily basis to them so regardless of the day, they know.
