Happiness Week Day 2 - Happiness and Self-Care
hi, everyone ! <3 i hope you are all doing great and taking care of yourselves :) welcome to march 22nd, happiness week day 2, happiness and self-care !
an important part of making your mind and your body happy is remembering to make time for yourself to care for yourself <3 sometimes, we can forget to give ourselves a little extra love and we can even spend time giving lots of it to others. spreading love towards others is great, but we also must remember not to ignore our needs for self-care ! everyone deserves to take care of themselves and to make themselves feel good :)
here are some ideas for self-care that might make you happy :
❤️ spending time with animals
❤️ going for a walk or a run
❤️ spending time in nature !
❤️ taking a bubble bath or even doing a spa day
❤️ reading a book in a quiet and nicely lit room
❤️ spending time with others, sometimes !
❤️ spending some time alone with yourself
❤️ eating well

I love the link between happiness and self care, it really is connected in more ways than one. Thank you for creating this lovely post to remind us to engage in some self care as well. Few examples of self care you mentioned are super nice, almost pretty convenient and easy for most of us, i feel. So i really hope to include more of such in daily life too. 😊
I like spending time alone to recharge- as a form of self care too haha, and volunteering in cups, being around y'all sweet people fills my cup always too. My long term/ continual self care goals include a better sleep schedule and a healthier diet lol, wish me luck xD

Yayyy! Thanks for another amazing post, Suko. So what I like to do for self-care is to try to reserve 10-20 minutes of my day to do some aerobics, which really get my heart pumping and provide me some fuel for the day! I also try to avoid using electronics too much on the weekend so I can get a break from the strain of looking at a screen. 😊
