Handling Stress
Hello, Everyone! Hope you are doing great.
Welcome to the Day 1 of the "Making Peace with Stress" Event.
Celebrating this event will help you in understanding some factors that cause stress, how to identify those factors that cause stress, how to handle stress and stressful situations, tips on reducing stress, etc. For the next few days, even though you would be reading the word ‘stress’ way too many times, it would be so that in the longer run, you are able to make peace with your stress.

There are a number of ways to handle stress, some more preferable than others. Everyone has a different way of dealing with it. The best way to deal with stress is the one that is most productive for you. You can find that method using trial and error.
Here are some of the ways to handle stress-
Meditation- We all know the upsides of meditation and here is one more to add to that list. Meditation helps in controlling your breathing and thus handling stress.
Exercise- When dealing with high-stress jobs, one needs a medium to channel their energies. Exercising is one of the best ways to do that.
Spending time with loved ones- You don’t have to deal with your stress alone. You have people you can talk to, friends and family, who will be supportive.
Finding a Hobby- This hobby would be your ‘happy place’ where your stress takes a backseat and you feel peaceful.
Listening to calming music- To shut down a myriad of noises bombarding your brain, listen to some music that can help you instantly calm down.

Agreed, worry and stress rob us of simple pleasures in life .
All of these are great ways to relax . Some activities that help me relax are, journaling , listening to music , taking a walk and again, if nothing else works taking a nap sure will !☺

Watching Studio Ghibli movies and anime in general really relaxes me.

Seeing and listening to running water in the form of a lake, stream or the ocean helps me relax. I imagine the gurgling current carrying away all of my worries, washing my metaphorical grime away and cleansing my soul. Which reminds me- "My love is like water." (See above link. :3)

usually talking to my boyfriend can help me relax a lot! or hugging/cuddling with my stuffies 🥰
