Although my mother wouldn't be seeing this, I would like to write some stuff.
Growing up, I wasn't that close to my mother. I ran away from home by attending boarding schools far away, and tried not to think about the childhood trauma. Surprisingly, I grew very close to my mother after some major events in my life. I don't think I have fully forgiven her, but I am making progress in my healing journey. Enough to say 'thank you' to my mother here!
