Peer Appreciation Program Leadership Rearrangement

July 11th, 2022

Hi, Team! Two big announcements for the Peer Appreciation Team.

First: Fristo is back! I had given up my leadership position in the team about two months ago. @bubblingBreeze14 and @WarmLightXO have done an awesome job leading the program in my absence, and I can't thank them enough for that. It's time I could be back to recommitting my leadership to a project I had first conceived in October 2021. The project has been spreading wings and getting beautiful day by day and week by week since the day of its inception and I am excited to witness and contribute to what's to follow.

Second: As the very first step after coming back to my leadership position, I want to distribute this position to my project agents than being a single-holder of it!

What does it mean?

It means now onward each project agent would have leadership authority in the team to make their own decisions independently for the betterment and growth of the project. Furthermore, 'project agents' would no longer be called project agents, they will get creative titles chosen by themselves for themselves according to the role they play /look-to-play in the team! We'll share these new leadership titles once each project agent is done naming their role in the team.

Excited about this new leadership arrangement and hope that we further build a culture of trust in our team over the traditional culture of single-person or two-person authority. We are motivated to seek the guidance and support of one another in discussing new ideas for the project, but at the same time, we feel a creative and leadership freedom to execute those ideas without needing any approval!

Tagging the dear project agents (oops, I mean tagging the 'star leaders'): @WarmLightXO @bubblingBreeze14 @Sunisshiningandsoareyou @GloriaD (Whenever one of the star leaders might make a core change in the project, it'd be their responsibility to update the fellow star leaders about it.)

I know that our team is such that we will work in harmony, and never have conflict about the execution of the ideas we might have, but just in case, in a rare case scenario, if such a conflict does happen among the 'star leaders', I (fristo, the founder of the peer appreciation program), retain the right to have the final say.

Tagging the team members [any team member who 1) shows consistent and enthusiastic performance in the team, 2) deeply connects with and believes in the project, and 3) does well with additional optional tasks in the team delegated by one of the star leaders, would be a candidate to be promoted to the star leader role under the shared leadership arrangement -any existing star leader may appoint and announce a new star leader]:
