Appreciating others through trust: an intriguing quote

kairemets December 11th, 2017

Do you agree? Do you think it needs another perspective or do you think this quote is kinda perfect as it is? Have you ever encountered a person who has made you feel that way?

@kairemets

I believe this is true, because not only I feel it is true, but also that trust is a way by which humans connect,(they say love connects, only superficially true, because without trust there is no love).

Also about backstabbing, my simple mind immediately showed me a picture of an armor(the picture I got was kevlar flak jacket), I converted that to something philosophical, I believe that self-acceptance and loving without attachments will do the job of this "armour", if one truly accepts himself/herself and loves without attachments(no strings to pull) then how would they be stabbed?

@observeroflife

I completely agree.

However, don't most of us have strings to pull? The ideal (selfless?) love, even between friends, is something that to me, sadly, seems just an ideal.

Yes I agree with you on moving on from hardships

@kairemets, Life seems to boil down to an endless series of simple binary decisions: regret having to do the right thing while you're doing it, or regret not having chosen to do it for the rest of your life.
