Following through and pushing forward.
It’s hard to stay afloat, trying to get back to prudence, stuck on basics and simple, have to go from simple to being prudent.
It’s hard to do everything alone only to be stuck with people with lack of drive or similar minded people, tried reaching out so many times, only to very little avail, gonna have to do certain things on my own, gotta be organized, visualize and get to my check points, work, gym church. Do errands, and have all each increments and pieces constantly accounted for and tagged in.
Always knew that you should never focus on a job, you should focus on a career, something long term, something you enjoy doing, that also has perks and pros and fits into a positive and progressive being. It seems every time I am just about to cross the finish line, i always get denied or some crazy calamities takeaway all the things I need to hit the goal, it’s friggen frustrating because when I am denied or lose my shit, always get stuck and end up taking it out on myself which clouds my judgement or take to bad habits.
Have to get pass that and focus on my priorities and goals and knock them out one and a time, frustration is good as I know I am making effort to solidify them, but exhaustion and fatigue set in both mentally, and physically and even spiritually I feel smashed down.
Need to one up and reach out again to stay positive and stay consistent, which is retardedly hard. But I know where there is struggle there is progress, but I can’t bullshit myself already, if I’m gonna be in it has to be all in, and be rigorously discipline, even if it means going without certain things, also have to strike the hammer while the iron is hot, for once i backslide and procrastinate, it is an arduous task to kindle the fire back, once it’s burning, gotta keep it going and burn the midnight oil. Thankfully with studying a little stoicism to being pragmatic about things, to toughen my skin and have alternative methods, to study a little Buddhism and click in some Confucius and Lao tzu for some practicalities, and bounce towards the spiritual teachings and practices of the Bible.
Along side those as base, turn to the more recent wise business men who have those teachings, Jim rhon, Brian tracey, Zig ziglar, Tony robins, and Les brown. To have all their books, to watch their videos and also participate in their seminars. That way certain aspects are gained. Those guys are a must have in your repertoire of profession.
Even more so people to talk to in person, a social worker, case manager, friend, pastor and or gym trainees, a consistent of this is needed for progress.
Almost there, ABC-123. let’s do this.
One goal at a time. But get to the point of multitasking and prudence. Have to be simple which is hard, but if you can get to prudence consistency, that is gold.
Diciplines, obedience, steadfast.
Firm, simple and modest are near to virtue.

“To be
idle is a short road to death and to be diligent is a way of life; foolish
people are idle, wise people are diligent.” Buddha
It started off as for survival mode but is becoming a way of life. Building positve energy.
@IsayUncle
Straight up. Gautama was a G. Wanna get buddhist books. Don’t like that zen crap, the mediating is good, but meditating is a rhythm. Even movement is a mediation.
Don’t like all those chimes and bongs, the words of Gautama siddhata is to be cherished.
However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act on upon them?
-Gautama Buddah
Gota get their books on buddhist, only going off quotes is okay, but to understand the entirety of their ways needs to be flowed through their teachings. Make it a practice.
@Simpleman123
I may die only knowing the two core values of buddhism. (The 4 Noble Truths) & (The Noble Eight Fold Path). So I can't say I agree with "all of", follow or study buddhism. Just grasping these two core values could last me a lifetime. I love the dependency towards understanding rather than judgement of others.
(The 2nd Noble Truth) The Origin of Suffering - short answer = our desires.
(The first three paths of the Noble Eightfold Paths guide me daily... I try to remember them but fail often.) A lifetime exercise. 1) Right Understanding. 2) Right Thought. 3) Right Action.... and the other paths invoke similar self disciplines.
I don't consider any of these from a religious context but more of a self evaluation of understanding myself and others.
At what age do we realize life is not fair, that life sucks. At what age do we start getting angry, hateful and vengeful. When do we start start thinking everything is hopeless and wrong with the world and humanity? As children we/I are taught not to lie be nice, be good etc, etc. etc. There are attempt to protect us from suffering. So it is after our brains have been formed do we realize there is so much suffering and we spent a majority of our lives asking why and trying to get away from it. The sooner we learn to accept it as common as the air we breath, the less brain energy we have to use fighting it and instead let be around us but not greatly interfere with our worthy path or goal.
That is the First Noble truth. The Existence of Suffering. I believe if we leaned this as eary as possible there would be less sense of entitlement and more sense of gratitude.
Most people think buddhist meditation is clearing your mind of all negative energy and it's not that at all. It's the exact oppisite. It's about letting all that negative come into your thoughts and learning what to do with it in a positve, disfusive redirective manner because it will always be there but how to live with it without great anger and anxiety is just another tool to make room for postive energy.
And so I blab on.
“When men speak ill of thee, live so as nobody may believe them.” Plato
“The beginning is the most important part of the work.” Plato
“Nothing in the affairs of men is worthy of great anxiety.” Plato
@IsayUncle
amazing, that’s one of the most well written explanations I’ve read, and gravitate towards that truly. Thats just the problem with me, it’s so frustrating that I grasp the teachings, words, practices for a while means, and it blinks in and out light and dark, it’s hold steady and encompasses me as the way of understanding, than it blinks out and I get stubborn for too long and it turns flip side into resent of not being allowed to tap back in it, it truly is like a door that opens and shuts on me. And I am left pounding on the door.
But it’s two fold on the dualities of discernment, have I fell to far stray from my flock? Have I sinned or erred to greatly to not see or keep the light? Have I committed to much folly to where mistakes or foolishness overtakes me?
I won’t lie, resent, bitterness and tiredness is breaching my garden, and I can barely keep back the weeds, it is seems so easy to just let go and give up, and worth it to throw in the towel with all that negative and bad energy that surrounds me. For even the Bible shows the greatest men of all time, they too fell short of the blessings and mercy of God, from Moses not being welcomed into the promise land, to Samson being killed, to Saul being overmatched and too big headed to his demise, to Solomons heeds of Ecclesiastes of woes, sorrow and pain and some good will be extinguished and bad and wicked things will win over.
To pastor myles monroe who said the worst thing to defeat a man, is to know he can do it, have the power to do it, yet is denied and rejected the gift and abilities he has because of mismanagement of authorities or people blocking one’s path. Truly unbelievable, but I have to believe it, I have to believe that if no one is going to help me, that I must know my limits like David and stick tooth and nail to their scripture and teachings, that I must learn from the woes and except my defeats, and pray, and tell myself the only way this is going to work, is to repent, and follow all three mind body and spirit all the way.
To not eliminate emotions but to domesticate.
- Stoics
To have philosophies in action and motion, not just talk and thinking,
- Buddhist
- To not just pray but become prayer, to not judge but simply practice without hypocrisy.
- Christianity
which I must make it, trust that I can overcome and that God, does have mercy even for a stubborn fool like me. Without God, I know I am truly nothing. He once had that hand of grace on me, I just pray in all forms zig mind, body and spirit, it’s not too late. To live a life i once saw as honorable, and worth it. This is going to be another level of perseverance and suffering. But I both have to, and want to, just will have to reconcile for my shortcomings and ways that lead me astray. Must get back. There must be a way. And I will suffer for it and pray to be made something of God.
🙏
@IsayUncle
Absolutely man, that resent is by far one of the hardest things to get off us, the only way is to shrink it until it’s gone, it’s never a one time thing, this is the impairment of it, but like the eraser it can be done, I can draw out a elephant or thing on a paper as my problem, and as the days go by, I erase one portion of it, little by little until it’s gone.
This is the same way the more we do for others we forget what we want, and what needs to be done, this comes with balancing out our priorities, we get stuck on one problem and it grows, but when we are doing many tasks at once it shrinks, this is why to me as a whole stoicism is not to useful since when we look at the whole they were tedious and slow, onoy a few gems relay in them, Pythagorus, Solon, Tellius, Marcus, Epictetus are good, be was must gravitate towards one who also have merit of proof and results, prophet Eziekiel, Moses, David, Abraham, all took great leaps of action, traversing and traveling, this is the true key letting all that crap go, meeting new people, new habits, new environments all is the key to releasing and reforming, who ever said time heals all things is full of crap, movement does, actions does, traveling and taking up newer endeavors does.
It’s all about action, results, review and move on, we can only do things that work, if it doesn’t disregard it. And stick to what does. Action Jackson, satisfaction.
Instead of watching these seminars on Tony robbins, Les brown and many more, we should partake in them, classes ect, instead of listening to pastors online we should engage with them, there resides the connection of releasing our woes and things we are holding onto. Letting go is not so easy and simple, but it is possible.
Like Jack Canfield coined, even impossible has the words I’m-possible in it. Thence It’s possible to overcome it, let it go, turn away from it, and grow our selves and garden.
We Got this. Lets get A completely done, than be is right there, boom, bingo bango bingo.
All the way, pace ourselves, yet one up on ourselves, be steady, but be ready to change, be optimistic always, for we don’t have to understand how it works, just that it works.
All the way.
@Simpleman123
boom, bingo bango bingo. LMAO, For sure man!
"All the way, pace ourselves, yet one up on ourselves, be steady, but be ready to change, be optimistic always, for we don’t have to understand how it works, just that it works."
(I totally resonate with this) We have to do it, not just listening to things and reading stuff, eating chips hoping it will all happen because we want it so bad. WE HAVE TO WORK IT - EVERY DAY!
All the way. (8 days 'till my next CDL test)
@IsayUncle
Get it my G, Thats true, we cant just read and watch these habitual videos, it takes action, practice and discipline, no damn easy task, but it has to be done.
Scream it out, cheer it out, and pray/sing it out. This is why in all scripture, singing and prayer is done, the hymns allows you to tap into a rhythm of consciousness, a connection, we must keep this consistent, im having set backs my self, but I will see it through, 99.9 percent done with A and I will be done.
That one on if we never quit, we I’ll get there is still powerful, we will face many defeats but we must not ourselves every be defeated, even a little string of light is enough to hang on, and pull closer into a rope, which is stronger, and pull closer to a chain, which is stronger, as we keep tagging in our disciplines and devotions, we structuralize our hope into faith, but it takes the other half of effort, persistence and consistency. Learn to rest not quit.
This was picture painting when Jesus said his Yoke is light, didn’t fully understand the pictureized version of that, the yoke is the harness they put on cattle, the yoke makes a structure on the bulls, to give them balance, and stability, to trod, I truly need that yoke, and the only way to follow through is to follow through, I got caught up in Jim rhon too much on him giving us options and being a student not a follower, but I see now with our path we have no choice but to follow them, both because they’re will and deeds, statues and commandments are nearly the same as ours, so we must work together with what they ask, a true fellowship, so i choose to be a follower of the faith. Ill just have to prove my self on my spirit side that I can and will get through this final page and get to the next chapter. I ain’t taking no for shit. No for an answer is not a option, I will get through this page, and out a nail in the coffin and both push and pull through.
Check to check, test to test, and chapter to chapter.
Mind, body and spirit. All the fooking way.
@IsayUncle
Me too, but we gotta finish strong.
For a righteous man falls down 7 times, and gets up 8.
If you feel that you’re at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on.
Learn to rest, not quit, if you are exhausted, rest, but if you know you can and have to make an exertion to get to the next check point, do it.
Proverbs 13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
Jim tells us that we won’t get everything we want, sometimes it hales on our crops, we have to accept certain things, he says if those things we tried to get done, if it couldn’t, always remember that there will be another season for it, as long as you have the basics ready for the next round, celebrate some of your victories, knowing that you aren’t there yet, but you are closer in getting it done today than you were yesterday. That is all that matters, the learning process also must work with the desire to win.
Yes we want to win, but we must learn what works and what doesn’t work. Also…
when you feel you exhausted all possibilities, remember this, you haven’t.
- Thomas Edison.
Certain things we have to cut loose, if you’re environment isn’t working, change it, don’t dwell on it, handle it and change it.

Don't get tired of trying my friend. It's hard sometimes; but it's much more harder to live with stopping.
What's going on? What obtacles are happening, interferring with your mainland goal? You got this, Talk it out. Share the realities, let's work through it.
@IsayUncle
Same shit, truck not coming through, fixing part by part, and still not running, tedious as shit, will give it another week, wanna get it going, wasted so much time on minor things, should have had the intuition to just drop it and leave.
So deceptive time and management gets with your in half despair half hope, from the face of it, it looks so small and can easily be slapped in, but it devolves into ignorance of how much I’m stagnate.
Just one piece, which loops back into one piece, and one piece, I’ve lost my sense of urgency, my discernment of what would be more beneficial for my soul, to go back into the same mistakes of thinking I got this covered and can put it off till I get it done, but this is the deception of the light-dark flashing, the light cannot blink on and off, can a room with a flickering light work that way and function well? No, it has to be on, or off.
Been too luke warm with scripture and my priorities. Which is what’s so frustrating and discouraging, if I’d just taken the leap, I could have been atleast satisfied with the decision, but instead all falls apart in each one, it’s hard to just do it when you’ve fallen short so many times, rejected so many times, people who back stab you so many times, yet not being able to follow through even on taking them out, it’s like I’m powerless in any situation. Have to remind myself to stay on track by the day and week, only to have everyone around wanna pull me in different directions. One moment they say to just dip, the other they give me bullshit of how it will never work over and over, fuck them, this job is beyond my rhythm to grasp, I have to make power moves again, this is gonna hurt, this is gonna sting, this is gonna be one hell of an anxiety attack, but I’ll meet it squarely to it’s bitch ass face. Ill give my self my own deadline yet again, and 4 pay checks will be enough to complete this crap.
A fix the damn truck - pivot after 2nd check and send it to my family salvaged with the best I could do.
B get my tats as a promise of grit to fullfill this page, of pain, and symbol of to know when I look at it, the real cowboy, industrial worker, cdl truck driver spirit in me will never leave, he’s here to stay and Persue my life long goal and dream into reality.
C Get that plane ticket and get to pheonix and be apart of swift trucking team and re-continue not the job but the career I always wanted, my rhythm, my soul, my spirit, my heart, my psychoness, and my spit at both life and deaths face. For i know I am cracked, but I can never be broken, not with the stoics to study, not with the Bible to study and buddhist teachings, it’s scripture and it’s people whom I’ve called the men of faith of our predecessors, have to give it a go. Just need help. I trust myself when it comes to crossing finish lines, but I have to cross the finish line first.
Just for fucking once.
Job 9:25 Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
Job 9:26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.
Job 9:27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:
Job 9:28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.
Job 9:29 If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?
Job 9:30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
Job 9:31 Yet shalt thou plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall abhor me.
Job 9:32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
Job 9:33 Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
Job 9:34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
Job 9:35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
I am not perfect, but I have fought to many battles alone, I have given the easy card to myself, playing complacent when thinks don’t work out, no more, damn if I do, and damned if I dont, I’m damned no matter what, I should as well get something out of it. But I trust myself if I can get to my podium of crossing the finish line. Don’t try, do.
Respect and honor the decision, to truly let go. I did my best, it’s time to move on.
@Simpleman123
It's ok to take a break brother. You don't have to quit to take a break. JUST REST, be resilient, sober and strong by being still instead of fighting. Breath, Rest, Do nothing to twart your progress. Just rest here for a minute.
I have a 1966, a 1978, a 1980, a 1988, a 1994, a 1997 and a 2004... (if I said Cadillac right now, you'd think I was Johnny Cash) I've had all of these for many years from neccessity, not collectibles. And they are all junks. I always manage to keep two running at all times because I have too. When one breaks down I have to use the other one to get parts and I hope it doesn't break down before I fix the other. I do all the repairs myself from major to minor and I could say they are all held together by bailing wire and duct tape but it's more like barbed wire and masking tape..... the barbed Tears me up to fix it and the masking tape don't hold long.... SO when I say I can relate about your truck, You know I mean it.
I know you are tired of trying and probably don't want to talk about S%*T. Let's talk about your truck. A = 99.9% done -set back - try again - set back - try again - set back..... Lets Try Together. Tell me whats wrong with your truck; if you want to and you are up to it. Don't falter my friend, just rest but while resting you can tell me about your truck if you want to.
@IsayUncle
Engine blew out, replaced it, and still had problems because of corrosion of the fuel lines, replaced fuel pump, throttle body, sparks, converter, and still has hesitation to start and dies when idles.
No codes, so only can think of the o2 censors, injectors and fuel regulator.
Gonna give my self this four weeks and than if can’t get it going just gonna salvage it.
Have to stay on track. Can’t let this hold me back. No excuses. Just follow through, last four weeks and this is enough.
@Simpleman123
That sounds like a good plan. Sometimes taking a breath, Does miracles!
(Is this your only vehicle and a major problem for mobility i.e. job, shopping etc.)
I have a couple questions about the truck.
1) What Make, Model and Year?
2) Where did you get the engine? Did you know the engine or hear it run, or was it a new engine?
3) What will do with the truck when you come to the Arizona? Sell it for $$$$ for the trip and resettlement?
I think sometime it's ok to cut bait and move on (with reason). I call it changeing my mind and re-planning. Your reason is you want to get stateside. Anything that stops that, reevaluate and adjust.
Work, Eat, School, Workout, Chores, Sleep, Rest.... Repeat..... leaves little time for auto repairs so four weeks sound doable and reasonable. We got This, You have progressed so much but it might be hard to see or believe because you didn't win the prize yet. You got this. It's not a sprint, but the finish line is not far. It's marathon you've started, You are Doing well and succeeded in getting this far.
Rest Now and then.... DO It Again Brother!
@Simpleman123
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Are you Resting or Crashing and Burning? Monday's coming, time to get back at it. Lets do this.
Don't Quit
by Edgar A. Guest
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit -
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a fellow turns about when he
Might have won had he stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems
To a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up when he
Might have captured the victor's cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And when you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst,
You must not quit.
@IsayUncle
Yesert, still working, this week ill tag in the last two parts, if it fires up all G, off to B, than we will see C.
Love that poem, listen to its audio on redfrosts channel, some of those quotes are needed to look at week to week, listened to and spoken out, and reside in our minds and heart.
The tired ox treads with a firmer step
- Diogenes
lol Diogenese the same dude that Alexander the Great told him I can make you a God if you follow me, and diogenese told him, told him, you know what you can do for me? Get the hell out of my sun light. 😂
Alexander came with a army and swords only to reach a demise, while Jesus came with no weapons, and a small discipleship, and we follow Jesus and the prophets more than the great idiot.
We got this man, keep pumping these books, quotes and words of wise knowledge and wisdom, for we live on the death of others - Leonardo davinchi.

@Simpleman123
Oh Man. Good to hear from you! Love your grit and determination. It keeps me lifted.
Same here friend. We got this. There is always another route up the mountain. This is our mountain, we get a choice to take up the climb.
It’s like Tony robins always says, you wanna take the island, burn the boats, for me that is similar to just make the choice, no going back, that mountain doesn’t have a backward route, only up and over. And to a lush place of liberation.
Psalms 66:9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
Psalms 66:10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Psalms 66:11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
Psalms 66:12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
Psalms 66:13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
Psalms 66:14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
Psalms 66:15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
Psalms 66:16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 66:17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Psalms 66:19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Psalms 66:20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
David made it through, I am still in the fire, I am getting through burning and all, I rather feel the wrath of God in punishment to learn and be corrected than to be cast into true darkness and be absent of Him. I will take my punishment knowing that I will come out refined. A little burnt, but that’s how smelting works, you can’t burn Gold and not have it shiney and of value.
Burn me, I can take it.
@Simpleman123
Good psalms, AND You're right, WE GOT THIS!
I just made up a quote:
An obstacle is nothing more than a seed for many unintentional blessings but with disgust and discouragement, we often crush it. JoRu
P.S. Truck? Wanna talk about it? What year, make, model
@IsayUncle
Dodge ram 04, replacing the injectors and 02 sensors, these last pieces are cheaper, should be the final fixes, replaced damn near everything else, motor, throttle body, fuel pump ect. So we should be good, even if not the final fix, best I can do.
Than B, than Dip. The swift schooling already is waiting for me, did the application, just have to get there, the rest will be all tenacity. Don’t need to study anymore, just getting there is all that matters.
Yesert, the obstacle is the way.
Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed to a star does not change his mind.
- Leonardo da Vinci
Anxieties and all, bitter and all, better to be bitter sweet, than no taste at all. Like Jesus talks about the salt. Don’t lose your flavor. Don’t lose the optimism, don’t lose the possibilities, for what do we have if not dreams, we can see way too much success stories to not believe that dreams can come true. Like Arnold says, Vision.
If we talk about it, it’s just a dream.
if we plan it, it becomes a vision.
if we schedule it, it becomes reality.
Don’t prioritize your schedule, schedule your priorities, we dont plan to fail, we fail when we don’t plan.
Getter done.
@Simpleman123
Nice truck man! I'm guessing a 4.7L engine. You'll get her going, it does sound like just couple more basic pieces. I don't believe they are very expensive, Of Course, that's relative to the money you got or can get. Get those and you could be golden. AT THE RISK of sounding really stupid here.... In-line Fuel Filter? (I always replace them.... needed or not)
Anxieties and Bitterness. Try to maintain those through ABC-123. You are buiding your strengths in your core with all these self teachings and I do know the frustration of not being there yet. These teachings get monotnous and seem fruitless at times my Friend. Trust me when I say they are not! They will give you positive strength for years to come if you do not give up. Your bitterness may be what's needed now to persevere but to soften it is also to ease your anxieties BUT now is not the time to worry about it. All in due time. Keep the focus. ABC-123 Like you said, "see the vision".
Don't GO through hardships. GROW through them and you will always win... always!
PS. You mentioned the family salvage yard. Do you have family in Hawaii? (Are you from there or the mainland?) I just assumed you were from the mainland trying to get back. I'm just being nosey and curious.
Have a good day today!💪
@IsayUncle
Psalm 37:24
Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
Isaiah 40:29-31
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Absolutely, the arithmetics is there, just have to tie in the spiritual faith. I will make it, even if the truck doesn’t fire up like I want it, that would be good enough. I’m from hawaii, and getting to the mainland, never left. Ready to, striving to and will.
Will have to be diligent, can’t be careless this time around, the surrounding is not sound, but we see Noah did not give in to his surroundings, we see David, there is no meet Him half way anymore, there is only all the way, is the only way.
Ima have it done this week, and blast in B right after. Keep it contra flow, have to really watch my steps and run it in for each first down, short passes and get to the touch down.
