I didn't know much about NAMI until I saw the training in the training section for listeners. I'm not in the US but it was very interesting to read about their support and the statistics on mental health. The statistics mirror that of my country.
@Kate I have once sent a link to NAMI resources to one of the members I was listening to in pms.
It was not sponsored by my school, but in health class I did a group project revolving around mental health. NAMI and a few other projects around my state were mentioned in the presentation.
I've mentioned NAMI to a group of friends, and to a teacher.
NAMI has so many resources, I refer many people.
