Burnout
I am feeling so burnt out on work and life right now and I don't know just what to do. Honestly I want to quit it all and go to bed. And stay in bed for a long long time. Like I don't want to do much else but stay in bed. Somethign I never get to do because someone needs me to get up to do something. It's crazy and my days off are filled with doing the things I couldn't before. I'm just done. Burned out and done and if I did get what is causing it to go away I don't know if I could really get motivation to do anything else.
@amusingSea2728 Burnout is something many people experience in their life. It can be caused by many things and can impact everyone a little differently. Something that many people find helpful is to do something special for themselves. It does not have to be anything extavagant. You could take a mental health day from work, go out to a restruant you like, turn off your phone for a weekend, or whatever works for best for you and your situation. Doing something for youself can help you balance out. Having coping skills that you can use daily may also be helpful such as some deep breathing in the middle of your day for a few minutes, going for a walk, and so on. If you do not feel you can manage your burnout alone, then you might want to consider talking to someone about it. You could talk to a friend, a listener here on 7 cups, or maybe even consider talking to a professiol if it is greatly impacting you.
