I can't figure out my life again

I feel like my life is going down the wrong direction. Like I made a wrong turn somewhere and I'm stuck on this path. I know what I want to do with my life, but how can a writer change the world? The only things I want to do with my life is see the world and leave it a little better than when I got here. I don't think I can do that on the road I'm on right now. I don't know my next step and I'm afraid that if I try to do anything else I'll fall, or worse, I'll go down another road and still not find what I'm looking for.

@missmaidmerien - I'm a believer that anyone can change the world, no matter what path they take. As you said, it's about leaving the world a little better than you found it, but that could mean inspiring someone with your writing, helping a friend, supporting someone here, volunteering for a cause, creating something new, or a million other things. What's important is that you want to make that change in the world!
