...See more I feel like my life is going down the wrong direction. Like I made a wrong turn somewhere and I'm stuck on this path. I know what I want to do with my life, but how can a writer change the world? The only things I want to do with my life is see the world and leave it a little better than when I got here. I don't think I can do that on the road I'm on right now. I don't know my next step and I'm afraid that if I try to do anything else I'll fall, or worse, I'll go down another road and still not find what I'm looking for.

...See more I've never been good at telling my story. As the oldest of five, I've learned from an early age that my story wasn't important. The fact that I've been trained as a reporter makes this even more ingrained. Even when I know that I need to tell somebody, like now, when I'm so lonely that it hurts and my life is spiraling out of control again, I can't tell anybody. I talk to my sister everyday and listen to her talk about her life, but I don't know how to even start talking about mine. My story isn't important, but why does it hurt so much?
