i am ashley a pokemon lover but no one cares or wants to be friends with me anyway because this whole cruel and unfair world is so cruel and unfair and doesnt want to show any sign of interest in me and my own interest in pokemon whatsoever because it thinks im pathetic just like MANY online community sites ALSO think so such as deviantart reddit nintendolife serebii bulbagarden artstation 7cups pokemondatabase blah blah blah et cetra cetra which all proved to be massive failures for me because i tried my best to seek new friends to make but they dont really want to be my friend at all because im just nothing and so lonely and upset right now SIGH T.T :'( ;_;
@AshleyGamer1995 hi there ❤ I believe i've had similar chats with you before about this🙂 people don't dislike you, people do want to get to know you ❤ you have to try talking about more than just pokemon, because what's interesting to one person is not to another. Try and connect with others on a deeper level ❤hugs you tightly ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I agree with you. Sometimes it's not the person they dislike, it is the unknown they don't like. Someone who doesn't understand another person or their likes tends to freak people out a little bit.

Try to be positive and show confidence in your passions!!! Like example: 'yes I like Pokémon and I don't care if people criticize me!!!'
Show things you like!!! Explain why you like them, talk about the lore, the video games, the series,
whatever you want!!!! , this is your space and no one can take it away from you.👾👾👾

How long have I been a lover in Pokemon? All the years, of course. :D Though I hadn't gotten into and played Pokemon until 2013 - that's where I finally gave it a chance by doing FireRed, and then on to other games Diamond, White, X, HeartGold, Ruby, Moon and a few spin-offs. A lot to explain about my backstories but yes I really like Pokemon for all years, before and after I got familiar with it.
However... I had to vent out this topic for a reason. =/ :( I am sorry for doing so but it proved difficult for me.

Hiya. I hear you, you’ve made some valid points. My take on it is that people have different tastes, but it doesn’t mean anything about you as a person, or your special interest. Friendship goes both ways and asking questions to others can show you are also interested in what they like too.

Awe friend, I get it. I am autistic, personally, and have special interests that are far from amusing to the average human I come across. But that doesn’t mean I’m any less worthy (though admittedly it does feel that way sometimes.) and you aren’t any less worthy either. I think there has been some great feedback here if you’re able to hear it. Keep on keeping on. And keep on loving pokemon, no shame in your game! (Or reason for shame either.)
Hey AshleyGamer1995, I understand how you feel, and your feelings are absolutely valid, though it doesn't mean they are true.. I do not think you're nothing and im absolutely sure many others agree with me here. Try not to let negative experiences stop you from trying a new one for example new site where you can meet new and kinder people, gift yourself that opportunity. This app has so many amazing and very kind people to get to know and establish friendships with that Im sure you will find your person.
Also I think Pokémon are awesome ( i used to be a big fan year ago) however my forever favorite Pokémon will always be Togepi, he is just a cutie! yet so powerful.
Don't be discouraged and give yourself and others a break to get to know you and you know them.
