Hi while listening one of my friend daughter adhd issue I realise I saw similar and strong pattern in my teenage kid. After assessment it turn you right.

Right now occupied in some work. Rushing to counsellor without finding good one I don't want to do. Surely will go.

So pls give me idea for time being month or 2 month. How i help and support.

hey there💜 im glad you were able to notice signs and get them assessed and it’s really nice to see a parent so willing to learn and wanting to be an educated and effective support person for their teen

that presence and willingness to listen and learn is going to be the most valuable and appreciated thing you can do for them i think

you can find the 7cups adhd guide by clicking Here!

And you can always read posts made by peers with adhd sharing their own struggles in the adhd support subcommunity if you have time, it can help have a better understanding of some shared experiences

For me, having an inattentive form of adhd, the best support my mother gives me is constantly reminding me of things I need to get done without judgement. She often offers to help me but I think especially for a child it’s good to not do everything for them so that they feel capable and empowered to execute tasks on their own. But regardless non-judgmental and frequent reminders can go a long way!
