Therapists are sometimes hard to find you may have to try one or two
to find a good fit. one time when i was setting up an appointment the group i went througha questionnaire type thing to see who would be a good fit
Hello, I think your choice is correct. Many times a therapist can help you relieve some stress and give you a lot of advice. Chatting with a therapist can help you relax a lot. I think that to find a good therapy, you can first read some therapy introductions, choose the one that you think is suitable, and then try it out first to see if you like the therapy. I think as long as the therapist is right for you, it's a good therapist.

Hi Maria! It takes courage to take the step forward and work on healing and growth. I am proud of you for doing that. Therapy is an excellent way to work on improving your life quality. Here is what I recommend:
1. Narrow down what is your biggest challenge that you need help with (For example it maybe anxiety or another mental health concern)
2. Look for therapists who specialize in that and based on reviews and their approach, see if you would like to try them.
Another thing you can do is to research the methods they use like CBT and see which therapy approach resonates with you. However, this is more helpful once you have experienced therapy and can tell if something works for you or not.
It is also worth considering online therapy such as the one 7 Cups Offers. on 7 Cups you can change a therapist if the approach is not working out without an increase in your charge which is helpful when you do not know what works for you. You can email support@7cups.com with specific questions on 7 Cups therapy if you are interested in it.
