Struggling to do things I like
Due to depression, lack of energy, and lack of motivation, I really struggle to be productive, even with things I like. And with art, I get discouraged because I'm not as good as I want to be, but I know in order to get better I need to practice. I just want to know if there are any ways I can combat this. I spend most of my time on social media, but even that gets tiring. But I don't feel like I'm able to do anything else.

I understand how difficult it can be to overcome depression, lack of energy, and lack of motivation. It's important to be kind to yourself during this time and recognize that these struggles are common, and it's okay to be open about them. It's important to know that you deserve to feel well, and it's important to prioritize your physical and mental health.
♡🦁🌹One way to combat these struggles is to start with small steps. Set achievable goals for yourself and take things one step at a time. It may help to create a to-do list, and make each task small and manageable. Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small they may be. You may also find that exercise or other forms of physical activity can help to improve your energy levels.
♡🦁🌹For art, it's important to be patient with yourself and recognize that the journey to mastery can take time. It's okay to be a beginner, and it's okay to make mistakes. It's important to find ways to enjoy the process and not just focus on the end result. You may find that setting small goals and celebrating your progress can help you to feel more motivated.
♡🦁🌹Remember that therapy can also be a powerful tool in helping to overcome mental obstacles. A therapist can provide support and guidance to help you navigate these struggles and develop coping mechanisms to help you manage them. You are not alone in this, and there are many resources available to you. It's important to remember that you are worthy of love, respect, and support, and you deserve to feel well and happy.
Love ♡ and Courage 🦁, Tas 🌹
