Random chaos

Does it happen with all you that you just start feeling overwhelmed and sometimes you are not even sure about what is it that is bothering you and what made you suddenly feel overwhelmed and dull.
Looking for suggestions how to deal with such situations.

Hi. Thanks for reaching out.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself to take a step back, take a break from whatever I’m doing to just give myself some space. Sometimes even limiting screen time and getting out can help change the mindset for me.
Do you have any hobbies you enjoy doing in your spare time perhaps?

Hey hey,
yes happens with me as well.
lately more often, unfortunately.
It will sound very banal, but these these things helped me a little:
it try to meditate those moments. To breathe, even when it feels impossible. it doesn’t always help, but practicing it over and over I ve noticed a bit of a change.
also I ask people for a hug. In particular friends, relatives or even if it is a stranger, who feels right to hug.
It didn’t completely remove the overwhelming thoughts and anxiety, it is still work on process. So just sharing with you some observations on this topic from my pretty limited experience.
i hope you will find your way, and please know you are not alone in it.

@Mj1999 I m not sure if this is similar to how you feel but i remember when everything used to pile up all the emotions feelings and stress to point where I d feel not just overwhelmed but i d feel like nothing like there was a gaping hole making me emotionless. My friend and I used to call it voiding and our theory was when we didnt talk about what was going on with us for a while then we d start feeling weird and numb and it d be better when we talked about it.

you are not alone Mj. It happens sometimes. Sometimes i wake up crying without any specific reason. Somedays i feel exhausted and sad without any explanation. Can’t really explain it. Surround yourself with your loved ones when it happens. It helps.
