Great point! đŸ„‚đŸ˜

Honestly, this is one of those quotes that hits you right in the middle of your 3 a.m. self-reflection. Like, sure, I might procrastinate, leave my laundry in the machine for days, or forget birthdays, but hey, at least I know these are my faults. That’s already progress, right? Awareness is the first step toward improvement—or at least that’s what people who have their lives together keep telling us.

The key here is balance. You can acknowledge you’re not perfect (spoiler: nobody is), but hating yourself for it? That’s where you lose the plot. Imagine sitting there beating yourself up for being human when you could instead take a small step forward—or at least laugh about it. It’s like spilling your coffee and blaming the mug for existing. Chill out, clean up the spill, and move on.

The truth is, nobody has everything figured out, even the people who seem perfect on ***. They’ve probably got a sink full of dirty dishes just off camera. So, own your faults, make some effort to grow, but don’t carry around that “I suck” energy. Life’s hard enough without being your own worst critic.

And hey, if you ever feel like your faults are overwhelming, just remember: admitting them means you’re already ahead of someone who thinks they’re flawless. And those people? They’re the real problem.

True. Not hating myself is the part I struggle with the most even though I don't hate anyone for the same reasons I hate myself. I can't even call it a blindspot because I know it's silly, I recognise it, but I still feel it. Brains are weird lol.
