I spend one night in hospital this week (monday/tuesday)

I dont know where to post this so I post about it here. So, I was coming home from grocery store on my bicycle. Then I had epileptic seizure, I dont remember what happened, but neighbour girl saw me laying and bleeding on pavement. She called ambulance. I got hurt pretty bad, but no broken bones. I have had these seizures since 12 years ago. It is scary, I feel like I can hit my head bad and die.

@Slayer22
That must be a really traumatic experience for you, buddy. I heard you, the fear lives on in our mind and physically body years after something happened.
I'm here if you want to talk about it. (You can talk when ever you felt ready fr, it takes real courage to open up and talk about something like this.)
How has this experience affected you?
How do you crop with the stuff after the incident?
@Apeatrice
This is nothing new for me, I have had these seizures for last 12 years (usually 2-3 couple of times per year) but I cannot live in fear, so I have to keep living. It is just, all I can wish, is that I dont get hurt bad. Bruises and injuiries are almost healed by now, but I bit tongue during seizure, tongue injury takes even month time to heal. Few years ago I hit my face so bad, my front teeth got fractured and I had permanent scar on my lip. So yeah, there is always danger of getting hurt bad.

Hug if ok.

Do you take anything for these? Have you looked into natural remedies? I understand ~ I had my first one into front of my 13 year old son at the mall. Very scary~ I’m sorry it causes a lot of anxiety.

Oh goodness~ I hope you can speak with him about this.
I’m sorry! I understand if you need to talk.

I hope you wear a helmet while riding. I've had seizures since I was 6 months old. Lamictal is a good medicine. I'm on it too
