I give up

rafa2009749 Monday

YI've been trying to do everything I can to stop being addicted and hooked on video games, TV or my phone, I don't know how I can do it, every time I try I fail and go back to the beginning.

@rafa2009749 yep all those can be very addictive🙁 they call cellphones a 'cell' phone for a reason, it imprisons you. Make a deal with yourself a week without those things, hide them/lock them away. First few days might be hard but then your mind will get creative and want to do other things😁 then book yourself in for other breaks, maybe slightly longer ❤ I hope that helps, gives you a giant tiny hug ❤

@rafa2009749 I don’t know if you’re a religious person, but for me, it’s the answer to finding direction in all problems actually. Every minute spent with your Creator can help you think clearly and take you to the solution right in front of you. ❤️

Why are you spending so much time in another world? Are there emotional needs you’re neglecting of yourself? Do you prefer a community online?

give yourself some grace. We live in a chaotic world, I want to escape sometimes, too.

set some goals, get out of the house if you can! I love going to the library in the colder months. Let your brain learn to work again without technology as a crutch. Wishing you healing and love, friend

Mezmer Monday

@rafa2009749 I know electronics are so easy to run to for simple distractions. They are an easy escape from real life. I find that the best way to pull yourself away is spending time outside. Or finding a hands on hobby. For me, it's playing music or working on my motorcycle. When I'm out wrenching on my bike, hours will fly by. The cherry on top is not only are you away from a screen, you're gaining a sense of accomplishment.

i am facing the same situation i cannot get myself to study whatsoever. can someone help

@rafa2009749 They are all designed to be addictive. It is not your fault.
