Hiya @browniebear welcome back! You have such an adorable username!🧸

Ooh and yes, you can find your threads (the forum posts that you make are called threads) on your profile page: https://www.7cups.com/@browniebear

Or via forum search here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/search/?screenname=browniebear where you can see the threads you've made or other people's threads that you've subscribed to.

There's no way to search for the posts/ replies we've made to other people's threads, unless you do a manual search and look for their original threads.

I don't see any other thread on your profile page currently, other than this one, do you remember making any in the past?😮

@Sunisshiningandsoareyou Hi there thank you so much for your reply! Okay, I don't think I made a post before, but I replied to other people's threads. I guess I'm searching for those. But I can't remember most of them.. 😞

@browniebear

Hi. As far as I can understand the problem:

When you are posting a message to a thread and somebody answers to your post, you should get the notification about it at the top of your 7 Cups page.

However, some people when answering delete the @yournickhere section, not knowing this results in you being NOT notified about their response.

In such a way some of your messages might be gone in the past, and finding them might be a Herculean work.

When somebody upvotes your post (clicks a heart beneath it), you are notified - this is a moment while you can check some of your old posts.

You can also subscribe to a thread you find especially important, and then you'll get a notification about any new messages there (not only reactions to your words).

Just curious: Why would you like to see your old messages? With time passing by we are still the same, but we also change.

Once I've had a funny situation scrolling through another forum (not 7 Cups): I've read a message from a few years ago and, to my surprise, it was signed with my nick. But during this time both my life situation and my way of thinking changed so much so that I had some difficulty with recognising myself from the past 😆
