Fitness Motivation
How do you guys motivate yourselves to workout? Even three times a week I find myself struggling and even becoming a little depressed in the process.
Which isn't supposed to happen , right? People always say how working out battles depression..

I used to power lift once upon a time, then switched to yoga, then got trained in Taekwondo and in the last year I've mostly been walking and doing meditations
I'm not the fittest person around but I can say it makes me strong and happy to listen to what my body needs and take care of it accordingly

find a buddy is the easiest answer
if you cant write down a workout schedule along with your motivation on why you are doing this
either way progress pics and keeping score of how much you lift/ran/jumped..etc is important to keep the flame up , by seeing those small steps add on the fire burns brighter within
One must start by appreciating, whatever they are already doing.appreciate the calories burnt in a basic task.if you count those energy burnt,you are not sticking to a task that you feel needs hardwork,you have already started by investing in it the very minute.
2. Do chores related to what you usually do,like if you are at home,add by adding a bit more to chores related to work,like cleaning,organising.
3.i found out that a lot of my weight was also because,I wasn't taking medicine for my health conditions
4.working out and resting balance
5.try to be busier when one feels pangs of hunger that are just greed,
You can try one hack- pushing yourself by physically putting you hand on your back and lifting yourself up to do a task.
6 . Don't adhere to conventional methods,that people use to loose weight.you can start by doing what you like.
And last but not the least,you're doing really good,by being self aware about your ownself.and you are wonderful the way you are.and surely slowly steadily,and with right univerasal timing you will also get what you are aiming for,for your ownself.
