My dad just got a terminal diagnosis. Seeking long-term listener to get me through his decline

My dad is 90 and has had a lot of health problems in the last few years but received a terminal diagnosis this week. We don't know how much time he has. I have cried a lot this week, and would like somebody to talk with on a regular basis to cope with him getting sicker. I have a wonderful healthy living buddy who is helping me a lot. I know he's going to die though, and I want to surround myself with as much support as possible now.

@SadMe70

I really am so sorry to hear that. Given the fact your dad is 90, I suspect we're in a similar age group, and I know how tough it can be worrying about the health of your loved ones. Whether I can find the right words for you, I don't know. But I can at least reach out for your hand, and you'll know you have someone by your side who cares.
