You can fly
Youβve been struck by lightning β‘οΈπ ouch, but itβs given you the power to fly. So tell us about your new experience of flight and what you will do with this gift. Are there any downsides or unexpected perks, how your neighbors react, are their problems avoiding electric power lines?Β
Best answer wins Sky Miles on any actual airline that takes Mayo points. Tinyβs pet unicorn Mayo awards all points in this contest and it mayo may-not-o be pharaoh.
@PineTreeTree it's always phare-oh ππππΒ
Well first I would show everyone my seagull impressionπ yep! I'd poop on people's cars, and steal their chipsππππ then I'd load up my pee gunΒ fly to the 24 people in my hit list and 'pew, pew' π I'd also aim for bald people cause its funnyπ pew pew!Β
mayo said I scored 2840 pointsπ
@Tinywhisper11 ππππππ π
@PineTreeTree yaaaaaay! I'll just take the trophy nowππ
Wait, you're going to let her take the trophy for pooping and peeing on everything???Β
Okay, first of all, I always knew I could fly. I used to dream about being able to fly (except that I had to fly in a giant rubber floatie ring, but never mind that). Okay, cool, so now I've been struck by lightning (ouch!) but I survived and now can fly without the inflatable floatie. Excellent!
I would fly around and look for people who need help and swoop down to help them.
My neighbors would be proud to have a superhero living next door.
Powerlines are no problem as I have an excellent built-in GPS that helps me navigate difficult obstacles (such as power lines, tree branches,Β large crowds of people on the beach flying kites, hot air balloon rallies, and sculpture gardens).Β
The only real problem is that I now love flying so much, I think I might be addicted to the high I experience while flying and now I have do drink excessive amounts of caffeine to stay awake. And now I seem to have the same problem as Tiny in that I have to pee a lot, but don't worry, I know how to land safely and I have a special pass for all the clean toilet stops on earth. So I'll stop to pee, grab another coffee, and I'm off again to save the day!Β
Woohoo!Β
Okay, now back to normal life. Thanks for the adventure!

@DancingSongbird579 I believe you should get 7800 points and a trophy. Iβd give you more points but there is some ambiguity about whether you could have already flown with or without lightening and the float thingy. Now that Tiny has zapped you with lightening you should see if youβre still addicted to coffee. πππ
@PineTreeTree
Strangely, I woke up this morning with absolutely no desire for coffee and no sense of flight. Boohoo!Β
Fortunately, I didn't take a direct hit from that second strike of lightning because my cat, Mr. Whiskers, was sitting on my lap and the lightning hit him instead.
Now, Mr. Whiskers is a flying cat. This is a problem because he likes to eat. Everything. A lot. So you'd better hold on to your spherical pizzas (or flattish pizzas, depending on which reality you live in) because here comes Mr. Whiskers the flying pizza-stealing feline!Β
@DancingSongbird579 I'm sorry but we can't let you get addicted to flying or coffee or anything else. *hits you with more lightning* now your flying powers have gone, I'm sorry but it's for your own good β€ππππππππππ
mayo gives a nice even 0 pointsππ
@Tinywhisper11
Tiny, you'd better hold onto your ice cream because Mr. Whiskers is going to fly in and lick it all up. He will also shed on your fuzzy blankets. But luckily, he is about to become best friends with Mayo. Lol.
@DancingSongbird579 yaaaaaay mr whiskers can flyππ willow can ride on mayo's back so he won't be left out β€ I'll share my icecream, with your kittiesππππ
In the spring I would fly high over the green fields, breathing in the fresh air. I would watch the newborn lambs take their first steps, whilst farmers start planting crops. I would fly through forests, watching the new life break through the frozen ground.
In the summer I would glide over the golden beaches, letting the sun best gently on my back. I would skim the azure blue seas, watching the fish from above. Iβll fly over the golden crops that are just waiting to be harvested, and follow the burbling brook.
In the autumn I would follow the forests, watch the leaves detach from the trees, wafting slowly to the ground, to be crunched on by a deer, newly born from the spring and ready for his first winter. I would fly over cottages, smelling the sweet scent of pumpkins, apples and spices and I would look forward to a freshly baked pumpkin pie.
In the winter I would fly fast over the frozen ground, watching as snow settles gently on the fields. I would slide over frozen lakes and rivers, and watch my breath come out in frozen puffs. I would watch from afar as the badgers and the foxes slink into their dens, ready to sleep through the cold winter. I would fly high over houses, listening to people laugh, enjoying the warmth of their family and friends. I would listen in Christmas Day as they unwrap presents, joy filling the air. One last dead leaf falls to the ground, and the world is ready to repeat the cycle.
