I'm struggling to find something that makes me smile today. I'm suffering depression and I got drunk last night and had a terrible fight with my husband. Today I've signed up to this and have put some serious wheels in motion to change and improve my behaviour. Which is good but it's not feeling enough to make me smile unfortunately.

This was actually something to happened yesterday but i was grinning from ear to ear all day. I'm very very self-conscious but.... I'm a 14 year old curvy girl that likes to dress like a guy (using whatever clothes i can or as try to make myself look as masculine as possible) Anyway i got my first tie ever on Friday night and then yesterday i wore it out in public. No problems but left me so happy. The next step is wearing it to school. I get really self-conscious at school because people aren't as open-minded as they could be. But i'm getting more ties soon!!!!!!heart

My daughter doesn't like to dress as a boy, per say. However, she does not dress like a girly-girl either. She's definitely a Harry Potter and Dr. Who enthusiast (ahem, self-proclaimed nerd). And, she wears ties to school sometimes with her t-shirts. She has bow ties, clip on ties and regular ties, not many, but she Hamas not gotten any flack over it. She has always walked to the beat of a different drummer.

She considers herself to be a bi-sexual, which I'm fine with, except I truthfully think it's just a stage she's going through. I think she is experimenting to see which gender she prefers. She has had many more boyfriends than girlfriends. So, we'll see where it goes.

My boyfriend made me smile today, I was having an anxiety attack so he just say with me in silence as I cried. He told me it was okay to be afraid, I'm so lucky to have him in my life. He's so beautiful.heart

I'm in love with my best friend. On Friday I waited for her at the front of the school she goes to and then we hanged out together. But the important thing is - I wanted to look good for her, so I dressed up a little fancier than usual and made myself all pretty in the morning. And when she saw me and we hugged, she told me "you look pretty"

It makes me smile even now.

I have 'come out' as bisexual to my family. :-) It was very low key...It might not be what you expect; I am a mum in my 40s and have been married to a man for 20 years, and this doesn't change anything at all. There are just a few things I don't feel anxious or confused about any more.

It was very easy, but only my close family (husband and children)...My husband is straight, and openinded. When we met he was house sharing with a leabian couple. :) One of our teenage children is bi. :-) I am a Christian and I've always had trouble with churches' attitudes to LGBT people, so this is feom working through all of that! :-) I am so happy.

You can ralk to one or both parents about your life and identity when you are ready, if you want to. (Talk it over with listeners first if you are not sure). It will be a completely different situation for them to hear it from you.
