What Made You Smile Today?

My listener who helped me when I almost overdosed and my best friend who called and talked to me for an hour to make sure I was okay :)

The realization that I know exactly what I want to do with my life, even if it is totally different from my major.

I went and bought myself some cupcakes and energy drinks. It's the biggest I've smiled all day. I've learned that I have to reward myself too.

Talking to a good friend on the phone and catching up! It's funny how good you feel after chatting with a bestie! We might be two states away, with crazy busy lives, but our friendship never feels distant.

Getting calls for more job interviews ( I'd recently been fired for no reason related to my work performance, but at will state, workplace politics what can you do?) This week... Also parents came over for coffee and a visit.

Me is really weird, as long as I know all people around me happy, I'll automatically smile. I'm glad to see all of you happy today :)

When my grandson aged4 found the trashcan that my mom had bought for bad words. He picked it up opened it and growled he said Grandma I put my bad words in it. Then he went to every one that was here for Easter dinner and had them say bad words. It became quite hilarious then he asked me to do it again and as he walked away I put a nickle in the can. He stopped dead in his tracks, turned around and came back ,looked in and saw the nickle and said Grandma you got more bad words...I'm saving to go to the beach!!! He is my sunshine

My friend was there for me while i was down and bought me starbucks as i talked to her about my recent break up
