Marshmallows and whipped cream >>>>>>>>
add a bit of cream and cinnamon
@ChromeYellow333 ewwwwww cinamon!?!?😝😝😝😝
😂😂😂😂
@CheeryMango cadburys hot chocolate, no toppings 😋
Confession time: I don’t have a go-to cocoa recipe, but I do know one thing for sure—marshmallows are non-negotiable. 🫶 Fluffy, melty perfection in every sip!
@JustLikeMellie ewww soggy marshmallows😝 I don't like toppings although they do look pretty
My hot chocolate is basic - Nesquik mixed into milk that I've heated in the microwave. Marshmallows are nice, but I don't want to spend the money on them, so I don't put anything in my hot chocolate. I'm boring.
There’s nothing boring about going with a classic that you like ♥️ and that sounds delicious, why have I never thought of nesquick 🤣 I always use hot cocoa powder mix but I’m sure nesquick is much less expensive.
@AmethystUnicorn
I'm not sure what the prices are.
Christmas is the perfect time for a warm, comforting cup of hot chocolate and my favorite festival of mine. To make a simple and delicious drink my hot chocolate, I’ll just add a few ingredients: 2 cups of milk, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and some marshmallows for topping.
First, heat the milk in a saucepan. In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder and sugar. Once the milk is hot, stir in the cocoa mixture until it dissolves completely. Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and top with whipped cream or marshmallows.
This easy hot chocolate recipe is quick, tasty, and perfect for enjoying during the festive season!
Mmmmm, peppermint hot cocoa! Absolutely delicious! 😋
I'm lactose intolerant now but before I would make a wet paste with Coco and milk so it dissolves easy. Then fill the cup 3/4 with milk, and heat in the microwave. Then put a few drop of vanilla essence, a pinch of cinnamon, a drop or two of Bavarian cream TFA vape flavour, then top off with fresh cream and sprinkle more cinnamon on the fresh cream and chocolate gratings. I didn't try with marshmallows yet but that would be a good addition if possible with the fresh whipped cream. I also usually put a small bit of my favourite instant coffee for extra strength and to counter some sweetness.
@CompassionateDetective im lactose intolerant too. Do you have access to lactose free milk? It tastes the same! It only has the added enzyme to digest lactose (enzyme that our guts are missing for some reason ) i even mix some into a heavier cream just to get the enzyme.
@SparklySeas49 I recently heard of that, the added enzyme in lactose free milk. That it's not that they take lactose out but rather that they add lactase (the enzyme) in. But have yet to try it. You got any milk yourself? nom nom
I love the comfort and treat of hot chocolate, even cooled any time of year. The winter and holiday make it like living in a story book especially when snow on the ground.
Mostly my go to is swiss miss simply chocolate with its minimal raw ingredients. Nothing else. But I love the treats of more toppings and flavors. Whipped cream or marshmallows, sprinkles, candy cane… mmmmmm!! What a sight to behold too!
I appreciate the recipes others provided!! Life got so busy I forgot how to make from scratch like we did as kids. Going back to those simpler homey ways and memories is a new found treasure!! It was our treat after a fun time out shoveling or just playing in the snow. Simple but happiest times.
@CheeryMango
I'd say a cup of coffee with cocoa powder poured in, and if you're feelin' extra spicy, add a candy cane. Happy holidays to y'all!
