A psychopath has buried four men in sand up till their neck like this:
There are, as you see,s four hats on their heads of two different colours, black and white. But the hats they wear are not necessarily in that order. The psychopath says that he will let them all go if anyone from them can tell the correct colour of his hat.
Which man will it be and what is the possible colour of his hat??

Letter C is the only one that can correctly say the colour of his hat. They know that there are 2 hats of each colour - logically, D would be able to guess his colour since he can see the most hats in front of him. C waits for D to speak up - if B and C (the 2 hats D can see) have the same colour hat, D will know he must have the other one as there are only 2 of each colour. When D doesn't speak up, C knows it's because the hats on him and B are different. C can see B's hat - so C must have the other colour.

A woman is expecting a baby with her husband. As she's about to go into delivery, the doctor informs the couple that there's a new machine that can transfer some of the labour pain to the man, so it's easier for the woman. The couple decide to use it. The doctor turns up the machine to 50%, 75% and eventually, 100% - yet the husband still feels nothing and the woman is able to deliver the baby with zero pain. Very impressed with how things turned out, the couple return home the next day with their newborn to find the mailman lying dead on their front porch.
How did the mailman die?

Correct The woman was having an affair with the mailman and the baby was actually his, so the pain transferred to him instead of her husband.

In 2000, a 40-year-old doctor told his son that when he was a little boy he decided to be a doctor by seeing a internet web site about performing a heart transplant on a puppy with a defective heart so that the puppy would live a normal life. He then thought that he would be a doctor so that he could help people in a similar way. What is the defect in this story?
A horse was tied to a rope 5 meters long and the horses food was 15 metres away from the horse. How did the horse reach the food?

The horse was tied to the rope but the rope wasn't tied to anything, so the horse could still freely move.
