This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.
If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going.
I will start with this riddle:
What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of?
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt, cannot be heard, cannot be smelt, it lies behind stars and under hills, and it fills in empty holes. What is it?
@ruffneckred the horizon?
@PhoenixAsh
Nope
@ruffneckred
The dark.
@TrulyMadlyDeeply
darkness is correct
A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50." The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?
"your exact weight" was written on the paper
@ruffneckred well done
There is a murder in a public park in the middle of the day, with many people passing by - however, no one calls the police and no dead body is found. What happened?

A person lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every day he takes the elevator to go down to the ground floor to go out. When he returns he takes the elevator to the seventh floor and then walks up the stairs to reach his apartment on the tenth floor. Why does he do this?

A beggar's brother died. But the man who dies had no brother. How is it possible??
@black1995
They're 2 separate people?
@black1995
The beggar wasn't a boy so they couldn't have been a "brother" to anyone
A princess from a far away land is to be married and 4 suitors have been selected. The four of them are told the stand on top of four boxes that are laid in the four corners of a room. The room is covered entirely with a carpet and the princess is standing in the middle of the room. The task for the selection of the princess' groom is this: The one who can touch the princess' hand without walking on the carpet or touching it in any way possible marries her. How is this possible??
@black1995
Hmmmmmmmmmm???????
@black1995
1) If the boxes aren't too heavy, they can move by jumping while dragging the boxes under them
2) They can climb out of the window, if there is any, and then go up to the next story, make a hole and climb down with a rope and touch her hand
3) Climb out of the same window, come back, bring a rope with them, stand on top of the box, make a lasso and drag the princess towards them with the rope and touch her hand
4) Use romance/persuasion/manipulation to make the princess walk towards them
5) Give up because it's impossible
@black1995
Just ask the princess to touch their hand?
@TrulyMadlyDeeply
I googled the riddle to get some closure on this one (because the account of the person posting the riddle doesn't excist anymore).
The right answer turns out to be that the princess can be asked to touch one of the men's hands. Credit to both @TrulyMadlyDeeply and @SuperAwesomeDragon for their answers!
It could be a tiny room, not carpeted, not square
@amarifey a closet?
@amarifey mushroom?
