Riddles!
This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.
If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going.
I will start with this riddle:
What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of?
What is the next word in the sequence?
Sow, Doe, For, ?
@DarkWolf
what
how is this made in 2016
the ansewer to the origanal riddle is depresion
@Bazzust0
It's been quiet a long time since this thread was made, and if you go to the last page you'll see new riddles are still posted semi-regularly. 😄
Depression is a good answer to the riddle. 👍 most people would answer with the more simple ''trouble''.
@DarkWolf
truoubles the easy ansewer tho why do that is what i would like to stop thinking but its probably the hardest ansewer
What is the next word in the sequence?
Sow, Doe, For, ?
Hint: keyboard.
@DarkWolf
We think it might be Gor, as the next letter on a computer keyboard after F is G and as the first two rhymn then Gor ryhms with the third letter of For.
Thanks for explaining why I got it wrong 😺
I haven't seen that one before. No idea of the answer.
If it takes 6 men 6 days to dig 6 holes, how long will it take 3 men to dig half a hole?
1 day
What’s half a hole??? XD
@jesusredeemedme2425 Good question, actually! I assumed the hole size was identical for both scenarios, but that is implicitly deduced, not in the text.
I mean, you take a tiny bit of dirt out of the ground… Behold, a hole. Done lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 @cloudySummer
The original answer was that there's no answer because you can't make 'half a hole' (source), but I agree the riddle is quite flawed.
Agreed lol
Re-arrange the letters, O O U S W T D N E J R, to spell just one word. What is it?
@DarkWolf 'just one word'
What falls but does not break, and what breaks but does not fall?
