Let's start with a logic puzzle! Which square fits in the last grid?
@DarkWolf I'd choose E
@DarkWolf
Logically I will say:
E
Altered Trapizod : Moves two to the left and then back. So next Step is two to the left which puts it in slot 1
Slash: Right one, then two to the left. So next step is right one, which puts it in Slot 2
Solid Circle: Left one, then right two. So next step is left one, which puts it in Slot 3
Clear Circle: Right one, then two to the left. So next step is right one, which puts it in Slot 6
@DarkWolf 2A (but 3C is broken, too, imho, as the dot is excentric)
@DarkWolf
Husband thinks it is D
@DarkWolf
We think it's
One man band
@lazyKatz
Yes, it is! π‘
I honestly didn't know if someone would end up solving this one. Well done! π
The individual words are: ago, fan, hue, dim, lea, pan, hob, pea, man, wad.
hob, wad and lea (unless the first name) are indeed unknown to me, might look them up later.
@cloudySummer
My current source of puzzles often uses less common/less used words, I've had to look up words myself too. And even though it's good to learn new things sometimes, I do try to avoid the more outrageous puzzles.
For example, I wonder if a lot of people could solve puzzles like this without looking it up:
Which is the odd one out? ISTHMUS, FJORD, ATOLL, POLDER, ARCHIPELAGO
@DarkWolf This is as far as I can get:
@cloudySummer
The words you have correct so far are ''fan'' and ''man''.
That might be a reasonably big hint to find the others, but it's definitely a challenging puzzle.
Oh, meh, none of the other 17 or so fit? This goes beyond my knowledge of the English language π€
