If you could write a note to your younger self, what would you say in only three words?
I had two thoughts. 1) Words can hurt. 2) Try your best.
What would your note say?
I would say that happiness cannot be found without connection to others, and that I am no different in this respect. It may feel safer to need no one....to be an island. But it won't bring happiness. Trust is an important thing to learn. Learn how to let people in slowly, and to choose those you trust carefully. But learn how to take down the walls. Learn to be emotionally vulnerable with the people you choose. It will be okay. They will not turn away in disgust. By letting people see all that you are, you can learn that you will be found acceptable, even loveable. You will find that your vulnerability makes others feel more comfortable to be emotionally open as well. Ultimately, it will make you better at loving others, and the act of loving will bring you more joy than receiving it.
1. STICK WITH IT
2. DON'T GIVE UP
3. YOU ARE CAPABLE
4. GO FOR IT
Dare be free
To my younger self, I'd like to say that your present is so much precious and happier than your future's gonna be. Perhaps it's the happiest time of your life. Future is full of just anger and emptiness, a deep hole in life, who knows, perhaps it can get better :)
You're still here
Or
It gets better
Plan ahead dude!
The Rollercoasters and thrill rides aren't as scary as you thought they were.
Just lock your heart up and throw away the key, you will never get to be with anyone your heart wants, don't bother just don't even consider having a crush on anyone or falling in love with anyone, you are too flawed, you suck as a human being and you are destined to be alone forever.
I love you!
you do you
DONT TRUST ANYBODY
