My dog, Mason. He brings me joy and sunshine everyday - there is something about the way he reacts to life. He is very appreciative of his food, eats every meal with gusto. He is very excited to go on hikes - like he’s died and gone to heaven. I aspire to lead life the way Mason does - in the present and to the fullest.

@warmheartedBlueberry179, I read in an article about this dialogue in the monastry among novice monks . " Why do you meditate for hours?" " We are meditating to see nothing , to be nothing. " Nothing here means they are not occupied or attached to certain thoughts or emotions . This helps them to be present in the now and be more productive. I guess ach one of us has a choice on how or what we want to fill our thoughts with.

Jesus. Jesus makes me happy. He gives me a reason to smile. He gave a reason to live. I wish everyone would know him too.
Horseback riding and family
This is an interesting post- the realization that no object or material possession gives me the same comfort than living creatures. Right now my rescue little dog has made my life more meaningful.
