I know, where the Vikings drew their Valhalla...

The Romans took the mythology from the greeks, gave new names to the same gods and stories...

Then the vikings sailed and found Romans...and they took the mythology and adapted the same gods as their own with new names and stories...

Hephaistos in greek mythology is Thor in viking mythology...

Pick them one by one and they correspond, greek-roman-viking...

It's like fashion these days, people back then picked on the trends of the evolved nations, they are successful, so let's adopt their gods in our fashion...the first vikings asked the christians they conquered this: "what is so powerful in your cross and your book?", they seeked that power of "the trend"...from shamans, druids and copied mythology to accepted christian formalism, vikings were seeking power...what is the power in that?
