I had a gastric bypass 3 years ago. I have suffered from anxiety and depression for 20 years or more, now I am starting to binge eat and have already gained more than <edit>, I am scared for my health, I have thoughts of taking drugs or doing something to stop thinking so much, I have panic attacks, I am seeing therapy but I am full of anger. I know what i need to do but i just having thousands of excuses for not starting.

@cathilcm

You went thru a lot.

The journey was i am sure hard and long and now from feelings and anger you are ready to let all that work go?    I know we can rationalize the thousands of reasons to put off things until tomorrow or next week etc.

In the end the reality is you seem to punishing yourself by undoing all the work you have accomplished. Getting a handle on your feelings will also be self love .... we all stumble just how far we go is up to us as well.

Did you do any therapy when you had bypass?

@cathilcm

I get it the affordability and finding the right fit are often the drawbacks of therapy. It is often work we must do on ourselves anyway the only role a therapist has ever filled was coach cheerleader for me.

So i found i can do that for myself. I have had my own sessions because i can not lie to myself of make things nicer or sugar coated.
