Relapses happen, but it's so important to take care of yourself. What are some things that you do that help you get through a hard time? I'd love if people could add to this with some things that are helpful to them as they may be helpful to others who don't have great coping skills.

@freefromworries

- Reach out to someone that you trust (A parent, a friend, a teacher, a coworker, a counselor, etc)

- Write down a gratitude journal and write in it every single day. Mention what you're thankful for. At least 3 things a day.

@freefromworries Definately try and reach out to someone who you can trust, feel safe with and who you feel can support you without judgement or expectations of you.

There is also great self help workbooks which can be useful especially if you are someone who finds writing things down, or working on specific areas useful to you.

Self help groups in your area is another good form of support where you can feel less alone and supported by those who can appreciate what you are going through

@freefromworries - Great thread! I think this could be super useful for people! A couple others:

- Track the patterns of what's making things harder now and address that

- Force myself to have meals with others so I can't skip / can't sneak away after

- Spend extra time on calming activities like coloring, reading, listening to music

- Go to a support group meeting

- Be honest with myself and my supporters about what's going on so they can help

- Remind myself of all the reasons why recovery is better, even when it doesn't seem like it

- Read affirmations
