Hi Jade, I think you are a very brave person for giving so much of yourself. I hope you are feeling better very soon. <3
You mentioned you have been in hospitals before this as well. I know it is common for people facing hospitalization to have a lot of fears and anxieties about it and have had Guests in the past come here to talk about their situations and fears. So, my questions:
1) Do you know what your main concerns/worries were about going inpatient?
2)I am not sure if you went voluntarily, orinvoluntarily. If you've ever gone inpatient voluntarily, what sort of thoughts, situations, or beliefs allowed you to do that? (For example: someone might need to inpatient, but they don't want to. What allowed you to say 'I might not want to do this, but I'm going to' ?)
3) What sort of things made/could make it harderto go inpatient?
4) What sort of things made/could make it easier to go inpatient?
Thank you for your AMA. Ignore any question I asked that makes you uncomfortable. :) I hope you are able to recover.
~~1) Do you know what your main concerns/worries were about going inpatient? getting fat,not getting help, sensory overload, people bullying me,sexual abuse ocurring, my Mh issues flaring up
2) I am not sure if you went voluntarily, or involuntarily. If you've ever gone inpatient voluntarily, what sort of thoughts, situations, or beliefs allowed you to do that? (For example: someone might need to inpatient, but they don't want to. What allowed you to say 'I might not want to do this, but I'm going to' ?) i went volountarily about twice, and both times i just did it so i wasnt sectioned, and i hated it, but knew it was thhe only thjing to do.
3) What sort of things made/could make it harder to go inpatient?
service cuts mesnt ti was sent 400 miles away whjen i was 11, which is scary, and os just downrighjt gonna make it worse.
4) What sort of things made/could make it easier to go inpatient? support from family and friends, support from my MH team, wanting to go, not being tubed or sectioned.
