At what point does not eating enough become harmful?
And if I were to tell a therapist about not eating, would they be forced to tell my parents?
@dancingwhirligigs
hey. i'm not sure if i'm qualified to answer this question, but i found these links that may help -- one, two, and three. if you were to tell a therapist, i imagine yes, they would have to tell your parents, but i guess it depends on the therapist and your condition, really. i'm sorry you've been struggling with eating, and i hope it gets better soon!
@dancingwhirligigs not eating is depriving yourself of a primary bodily function, of nutritients and energy. Yes it is damaging physically. But mentally it becomes damaging when it starts interfernig with your everyday life, your social life, your ability to concentrate on school or work, or with your interest in hobbies and fun activities.

Sometimes it helps me to think that food is medicine when i am sturggling with eating something
(oh my gosh, your cat looks exactly like my cat <3 )
should i starve myself to death i really want to
I have been having problems with not eating enough. I have recentally become vegan. It is a good excuse to not eat as much and I seem to feel less guilty when eating. I am a few days in and feel fantastic.And yes the Therapist most likely would tell your parents. @dancingwhirligigs
