I've been struggling with over-eating lately, not stopping when I'm full and eating when I'm not hungry. Food has dug a whole into my heart and it's awful.

@selfdisciplinedDog7277, I am sorry that over-eating is becoming an issue, it can be hard to stop eating at times, it does make us feel awful when we are done and realise what we have done, what are some ways through which you can try to make sure that you eat a moderate amount of food?

@selfdisciplinedDog7277 have you tried drinking water before a meal ? It helps fill you up also flushes toxins out of your body.

@karenw, it can be really hard to beat the cycle mainly because we are addicted to the rubbish and if we don't eat it drives us crazy in a way and since it's not good for us, in long-term it does have side effects, Maybe you can try and monitor your sleeping habits a bit, it can be possible that you have caffiene before bed or too much water or a very sugary meal/drink before bed, those things can be disruptive to sleep, have you considered doing some self care activities that calm you before sleeping like meditation?
