Can you share some tips about how that condition is treated?

For those who are not sure what atypical anorexia means - it's when the person had developed most of the symptoms that leads to anorexia nevrosa but that person can be normal weight or overweight.

Hello fellow Listener StarySky,

Only professional help could suggest what's best treatment option for the condition, there's nothing like a "treatment fit for all" regarding the specific ED. Of course any treatment must be, ideally, evidence based. Roughly for practical purposes this means, effective enough when applied to previous patients. I can share with you a very good resourceful link from NEDC Australia where current evidence based treatments are explained.

Hope this helps you to get a general idea,

@StarySky756 I have it untreated, as I am "not skinny enough to have a problem" - doctors own words. So I will just follow this thread to see if anything can help me too. Is that okay? heart
