Chronic Pain
@LIFEadisastrousmess
The biggest thing for me is just trying to find the positive in every day things. Yes, somedays I am in pain and can't get out of bed, but the positive part is that I am still alive and breathing. The positive things don't need to be grand, they can be small things whether it is getting a good grade on an assignment, getting a promotion, being able to hang out with friends/family, etc. Just keep your head up and eyes open and you will find those positive things.
the only thing i know to do is try to stay positive and try to stay busy, so i dont notice the pain so much.

I know this post is old but the topic isn't. It is very hard not to get discouraged by pain, It was explained to me that I needed to accept my old life was gone and that there would be a new 'new life' for me. It took several years for me to even believe that this was true.
Family and friends are important, pets, hobbies and just little things like new perfume for me or watching an old movie, or better still a new one that I have been looking forwards to - Top Gun Maverick for instance.
I try to always think that tomorrow will be a better day!

Making sure that I have a good treatment plan in place. Trying to focus on the good things in life and the hobbies I enjoy.
