mawce13 September 6th, 2023

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any advice on what they do to work with their disabilities throughout the day. I seem to be in a cycle of just running myself into burnout. I have fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, autism, adhd, and bpd. any advice will greatly be appreciated thank you

Hey @dumbledore13

Nice to meet you!

Burn out can be tough! Its hard to know how to prevent it in the future if we don't really know what caused it.

I'm really glad that you found the disability community here though and I hope that others are able to reply and give you some tips or how they handle different disabities

It might be helpful to check out the Autism Support Community too!

I look forward to seeing you around Cups

@dumbledore13 I have a few mental health issues. But physically, my spine is broken and not completely fixable. My legs became dead weights and they had to amputate them. And half my fingers are missing. So I understand it doesn't feel like much we can do when our illnesses hold us bac k. So my advice is to find the pleasure in the little things. Like watching the sunrise and sunset. Engage yourself in a hobby you can do, for me it's art and craft. Make music playlists, come on here to talk. Anything like that, just try and enjoy what you can do instead of thinking about all the things you can't do ❤❤❤

I try to not to plan too much in a day. A lot of days, I have the flexibility to rest or nap whenever I feel the need to. I'm in the habit of frequently checking in with how I feel.

If I do have a lot going on in a day, I try to plan out some breaks.

Hello I’m alive from being with my aging widowed parents. The lost of my grandparents and the drama between my god families country put me in a risky situation. I had to pay a bill far from my house and got into a car accident after. I saved the drivers life by quickly taking control of the wheel. I know that I made a quick decision that was final for my destination.

Need positive guidance after my last trip to have a stable home for my future remote work and pray for my rich Angel investor to save me. For my new costume design shop and production.
