What's your disability?
I have a learning disability.
What is the most difficult part of your disability?
For me its being slow when my brain sometimes either moves toooo fast or not fast enough and I have to take longer on stuff.
I am autistic. Diagnosed when I was 4. I have sensory processing issues, communication difficulties, lack of social skills, etc. I make up for this with my intelligence but i am unable to find decent work due to aforementioned processing difficulties. My depression has worsened because of this as i feel like i cannot contribute to society in which is needed to be for experience. I have been bullied severly because of my disability which led me to have to be taken out of school early and put somewhere else to finish the remainder of my work.
I am here in hopes of getting support in between appointments with my psychiatrist so i can get proper support systems in place which i have been lacking for years due to mine not being severe enough to qualify despite it affecting my life on a daily basis.
@montrealkl99
Hi there, things seem to be really difficult, sorry for that.
Your will to face the situation can really make the difference, hope here we can give you the support you are looking for.
Take care!
@montrealkl99 I also am autistic and I was taken out of school, too.
I haven't gone to a doctor to look into it but I think anxiety and depression. The only thing I do know is that my heartbeat is not for someone my age(19). I can't get tired or really stressed because if I do my body will lock up and I'll have trouble breathing(real bad).
It's funny that I only found out that it was like this is when they were testing the ECG machine at the place I was working in as an OJT. It wasn't wrong since when I actually went to a doctor with my mom, they saw that my heartbeat is that of someone who's at the age of someone who's in their late 30's

Thank you beyondtheinvisible for your warmth compassion. I feel so alone and hurt. I had tried to reach out to people and I been cut down. I lost my self respect because I feel that everyone problem.
I have a combination of chronic mental illnesses - anxiety, depression and PTSD - and I recently got diagnosed with PCOS and IBS on top of all that. There's also the possibility that I have Auditory Processing Disorder, but so far I haven't been able to get that investigated.
They cause me a fair few problems - fatigue is arguably the worst, I struggle to muster the energy to do much most days, and especially so if I'm struggling with severe abdominal pain as well. On a psychological level, I have difficulty with my ability to focus and my short-term memory, so I often seem very scatterbrained.
